I love...

My new sexy sleepwear from H&M. Too bad I'm the only one who gets to see it on. Haha. Perfectly lonely.

Lovely day

Makes me so happy that the weather is wonderful and I get to wear my denim shorts again. Maybe I'll go for a swim later. Feeling ambitious.

Q/A

The answer to your questions:

Can you put your make-up routine up? Love your eye make-up.
My make-up routine is really simple. Most days I use no make-up at all. I'm actually really allergic, so I try not to use too much mascara. But I use some when I'm going out or if I want to feel extra pretty. My lashes are naturally long and dark, so there's not so much difference if I use make-up or not. I always use a great lipcolour though. I use Chanel Rouge Coco.

Your greatest fashion icon?
I try to not get too attached to one fashion icon. It's important to stay true to your own style. But I think Kate Bosworth, Miranda Kerr and Olivia Palermo always dress timelessly beautiful. Always inspiring.

How do you stay in shape?
I eat a lot of everything and I don't excercise. Haha. I don't restrict myself to anything, but I try to eat much fat and protein just because it's better for my stomach and body. And I don't eat too much sugar for my skin. I keep my alcohol intake to weekends, and I try to never get overly drunk. That's never classy. Slow walks in nature is enough exercise for me, but I also like mountain walks and cycling when the weather allows it.

How did you become a model?
I was contaced by my current boss, the manager of Starlet by Ravensborg Management. So happy I did. I'm loving it!

You are too pretty! When did you start your blog and modeling career?
I started blogging one and a half years ago. I started my modeling a year ago, or I wrote a contract. But I started working 9 months ago, since it's quite far from Oslo where I live.

If you could book any job, what would it be?
I've always loved writing. Also, I love traveling and concerts. The traveling part is something I get to do within my model work. I hope to go abroad soon to work as a model and to see the world.

And where would you like your modeling career to take you?
I've always loved fashion and photography, so it's really a natural part of my interest. Also, I love traveling. Of course I hope that I can ear enough by working as a model that I can do only that. Hopefully I will get more answers when the fall comes.

What's your favourite brand?
I love Acne and Whyred for casual clothing. Herve Leger is my favourite for dresses and Stella McCarney for lingerie and sportswear. COS and HM is great alternatives when I don't want to spend so much money. I also shop a lot of vintage.

What is your favourite item in your wardrobe? Can you show it?
I love my red bandage Herve Leger dress that I got a couple of months ago. It's the most expensive item in my wardrobe, but I really love it. Can't wait to find the right occasion to wear it.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
Blogs, people that I see, style icons. I love scrolling down my favourite Tumblr blogs. Could watch photos there for hours.

Do your read blogs? Which ones?
I read a lot of blogs. I guess I have over a hundred that I keep track on and read daily trough my Bloglovin'. And of course I read a lot of others when I'm in lack of inspiration or just bored. I'm an addict. And I've been for some years now. My favourites are: Lustt for Life
Northern LightThe Model DiaryVanilla ScentedStyle by KlingFashion Toast and of course the blog of the most beautiful girl I know, inside out, Tone-Lise Kalvo

What do you want to work with later? Do you want an education?

I'm not quite sure. Currently I'm studying Economics, and I think it's okay. You can use it to a lot of different things. I've always loved writing and litterature, but also fashion, and I love modeling. Hopefully I'll get to do a bit of everything. There are just too many things I want to do. I guess it's more about how you do things rather than what

Hope you got your answers. If anything, leave a comment or just contact me on karoline_92@hotmail.com

Why torture your feet?

It’s amazing what lengths some people will go to in the name of looking good, whether they go for fad diets and spend most of their lives bouncing from one detox to another, or opt for Botox injections and plastic surgery. However, there’s one thing that seemingly every woman on the high street does from time to time, and that’s forcing her feet into torturous (and often expensive) high heels for a night out!

A recent news story covered by BBC news reported how street pastors in Taunton took the kind measure of handing out £1 pairs of flip flops to revellers that needed to remove their uncomfortable shoes after a night out. The scheme began in 2008 and the church behind it estimates that over 2,000 pairs have been handed out since.

The church is now asking those that have benefited from the initiative over the last four years to hand back pairs that they don’t need any more so that they can be washed and re-used. The flip flop ‘amnesty’ will allow people to return pairs anonymously to a green bucket outside the North Street church in the centre of town every Saturday evening until around mid-May.
So while it’s hard to define what’s ‘too much’ when it comes to dressing up, when a charitable scheme is set up to rescue stricken women after a night out on the tiles, there’s a sense that something might be going a little wrong!

However, with so many different colours and styles of sandals, shoes and flip flops available online, it really needn’t be the case that footwear has to cost an arm and a leg (or a foot for that matter). A fantastic selection of gladiator sandals can befound at Littlewoods.com that combine style with comfort to wave those painful Saturday night niggles away. And if you do decide to keep on with the six-inch stilettos every weekend, at least pack your own pair of £1 sandals, just in case of emergencies!

Todays outfit

Wearing Cheap Monday jeans, HM trend wool knit white sweater, vintage cardigan (so comfy), Acne wool scarf and my sisters leather boots.

Strawberries and greek yoghurt for dessert. Don't forget to put on lots of cirup on top. YUM

Treating my self

1. My legs in the bathtub, 2. Brazil nut body butter form The Body Shop

Love to treat myself with a home spa at least once a week. Quality time with myself is a real favourite. Haha, it's true though. I start by shaving my legs, then I'll pick my eye brows, peel my skin (both face and body) and then cleanse it. Then I'll jump into the hot bathtub with bubbles (very important). To finish it all I add some oil to the water (so that the skin gets super soft). When all clean and nice, I put in the amazing body butter from The Body Shop. Voilá, I'm a better version of myself!
